Vowing to bring glamour and sophistication to the soft home furnishings industry, Marlo Lorenz launched Thro, Ltd., a line of decorative pillows and throw blankets, to mass and mid-range markets.

Says Lorenz, “I started Thro because I saw a huge opportunity and real need in the market for stylish pillows and throw blankets in a range of genres be it traditional, contemporary, or over the top glamour. My goal was to make affordable, beautiful pieces everyone, no matter how much money they had, would kill for.”

Marlo hit the nail on the head by creating a line of pillows and throws incorporating truly fashionable textiles and dazzling embellishments at a price point the general population could afford.

Ten successful years later, Thro, Thro Collection, and Thro Couture can be purchased in a range of fine stores including Dillards, Bed Bath and Beyond, Expo Design Centers, and Fortunoff.
